I bragged too early about the Dean’s List thing. Looks like this semester is not going to go that way at all. We got the results back on the Science test. I only scored 87 of 120 points. Which is a measly and pathetic 72.5% A low C. I need to make a B in this class, or an A if I can swing it. But with a low C as 25% of my grade, that is looking to be tough. Next week I have a test in Health/PE. Then the week after that I have a test in Latin. The Latin was supposed to be next week, but she delayed it. At least I don’t have to study for two exams at once. Latin is getting more and more difficult. I have no idea how I am going to take two more semesters of it and make a good grade.
On another note, the husband has us watching V: The Series from 1984. It is so BAD. Much worse than the mini-series. I think they hired all new writers or something. The actors are all the same, but the quality of the show is so low compared to the mini-series. I am bored to tears watching it. I keep doing internet stuff while it is on. I wasn’t crazy about the new V series that was on this past November. I admit it seemed dumb. But, I take it back. It was far superior to the old V series. I guess I will be glad when this one is over and I can watch the new one. It comes off hiatus at the end of March.
My teenager is currently passing every one of his classes! I hardly know what to think. My little boy has 4 A’s and 2 B’s. My daughter has all “exceeds expectations”. The kids are on 18 week semesters at school. They get a mid-term repost at 9 weeks. But between those, they get a progress report at 4.5 weeks and at 13.5 weeks. These were the first progress reports for this semester. The teenager hasn’t been passing all of his classes on a report since 7th grade. He’s in 10th grade this year. I had pretty much given up.
