The Chinese was a concession to the kids who have been missing eating out a lot. I think we actually have been eating out a lot. Especially the last two weeks when I didn’t blog our meals. I think we ate out twice per week those weeks! But we ordered the Chinese in anyway. None of it goes to waste at least. They eat every bite.
The spaghetti sauce was awesome. I love making my sauce using fresher ingredients. For a long time, I used canned tomatoes and ground beef and dry herbs and store-bought wet minced garlic. That was much more homemade than a lot of people manage. But having fresh garlic and tomatoes makes it much tastier. I also used some of the fresh parsley we still have in the fridge. I am seriously considering a window box for fresh herbs. Oregano and Rosemary and Parsley. Maybe a couple of others. I have never been a gardener, so I have to really think about it and plan it out before I buy anything.
