Well, I am not doing so hot with the “new” life goal stuff and it is only day two!
I meant to go to bed at 11pm last night. But I fell asleep while surfing the ‘net and had a spontaneous nap between 7 and 8:30. I thought maybe I would just go back to sleep, but I was way too hot and couldn’t cool down. May have been a peri-menopausal thing. I got up and went to sit near the husband while he did work from home on his computer.
10pm passed by without me taking the Tylenol PM. Then 11pm passed without me going to bed. When I finally did go it was 1am! I slept furiously, hoping to get enough rest to be up all day. No such luck. I got up at 6:30 and did all I need to do to get the kids to school. I decided to stay up and I went and sat down with my laptop on the couch. Sometime around 9:30 or so, I fell asleep.
I slept from 9:30 until 2pm on the couch. Now the kids are home from school and I wasted another day of possible errand running. I am going to go to class this evening, so that is one thing that won’t be a failure. But the rest is an unmitigated disaster.
I made a little list of things I want to do every day this week. Just small stuff, like get to the post office, do some overdue paperwork on taxes, grocery shop, run by the bank… But I need to do that stuff during the day while the kids are at school! And I slept the whole time.
Also, I need a shower. *sigh*
