I have been reading about cleanses lately. You know, those scary power juice diet things? I am not ready for a cleanse. I could not survive three days on cayenne pepper and lemons. But, I do want to flush some toxins from my system. I am doing a faux cleanse today.
I am going to eat only fruits and vegetables. I am going to drink water. And I am going to drag out my neglected juicer and make myself some nasty drinks. I have kale, celery, cucumber, carrots, onion, asparagus, pears, apples, oranges and kiwifruit all in my kitchen. These seem like a good basis for mixing and matching into some healthy drinks. I also have frozen bananas in my freezer. I could drop those into a blender, alone or with some other stuff, and make smoothies, too!
Anyway. I am going to do that all today. Only one day. I am new at this. Maybe next week, I can do it for 2 days!
