I have two big pieces of exercise equipment that live in my house. Mostly, I use them to hang clothes on. Tonight, I cleared one of them and did a mile on it. It is a Gazelle. It is a non-impact walking thing. It has a little electronic part that tells how far you have gone, how fast, how long it took you, and how many calories you burned. I need to be getting some exercise done, but I keep failing. Like, on a daily basis.
So, today, I did one mile. It took me 12 minutes. I only burned 121 calories. Not a great accomplishment when looking at the numbers. But a huge deal when looking at my track record. Combined with my co-op work on Tuesday, this means I finally made my 4th goal for once.
I have been getting in two liters of water and two servings of fruits or veggies almost everyday. For maybe the last 2 or 3 weeks. I think I am fairly often hitting the one non-water drink a day thing too. But I hadn’t made this particular goal at all until today.
I am working right now on finding something positive in my life. I am down in the dumps a lot. I am maybe a little pessimistic too. So, most days I am trying to think of something that went right or made me feel good or whatever. This week, I made it to both classes on Monday. I went to co-op on Tuesday. And today I exercised. Wednesday was kind of a loss. But I have high hopes for tomorrow!
