So, I went to the gym. Which is exhausting. And boring. I need earphones and maybe an mp3 player.
I did 15 minutes on the treadmill. That has become the standard for me in this first week. My second week starts tomorrow. So next time I go, I will try EXTRA hard to make it 20 minutes.
I did the 11 machines again. But today, I did 2 sets of 20 reps. It was the 5th visit and I felt like I could do a bit more. My muscles could really feel it the last 5 reps of the second set though.
I want results NOW. I have been to the gym 5 times and did a good workout each time. But I have nothing to show for it. I haven’t lost weight. My muscles aren’t bigger. My size isn’t smaller anywhere. In today’s culture, we are used to near instantaneous results. I want my perfect body reward for my due diligence in the gym! And I want it now. Damn it.
